Frequently Asked Questions About Baseball Physical Therapy

  • Dr. Nick combines his personal baseball background with his doctoral training in physical therapy to deliver a level of assessment and care that typical coaching can’t match.

Through detailed strength, mobility, and movement testing, he identifies the true factors that influence performance and injury risk. This allows him to create a complete plan for improving mechanics, building resilience, and preventing overuse issues before they start.

And if an injury does occur, you’re already working with a clinician who specializes in baseball rehab—meaning faster answers, a more targeted recovery plan, and a smoother return to throwing.

  • Baseball Performance and Rehab at Infinite Capacity is built for athletes who want more than generic coaching or basic rehab. It’s for you if:

    • You’re dealing with a throwing-related injury and want expert-level rehab from a clinician who works with these issues every day.

    • You’re a motivated athlete ready to take the next step in your development and elevate your game.

    • You’re committed to putting in the work required to outperform your peers and compete at a higher level.

    • You want a coach who truly understands baseball, can help you prevent injuries beyond “just watching pitch count,” and will prepare you to be healthy, strong, and ready for next season.

If you take your performance seriously, this program is built for you.

  • The initial evaluation begins with a detailed conversation aimed at truly understanding any injuries, current baseball participation or throwing programs, and your goals.

Then we take a look at how you move, measure range of motion and strength, and gather as much objective data as we need to bring problem areas into focus.

Next comes some general warm-up, specific throwing warm-up drills, and a throwing session on or off the portable mound while dialing in mechanics along the way.

We explain the most glaring issues affecting performance, our suggested plan, and collaborate with you on the best path moving forward.

You leave with a clear understanding of what it will take to reach your goals, how we’re going to help you get there, and exactly what you need to do to start the process.

This all happens during the 60-minutes we have scheduled together.
