• starting pitcher for St. Joseph’s College, earning all-conference honors as a junior and senior and all-New England honors as a senior; holds the career earned run average (ERA) record and is top 10 in numerous other categories

• two summers playing in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) with some of the best Division I, II, and III players in the country

• 2013 FCBL all-star game

• briefly pursued professional baseball by participating in the California Winter League in 2015
